Norrin Lunaes
As an interdimensional being himself, Norrin came to Eorzea with prior experience with investigating and dealing with the strange and unusual. With extensive knowledge in the paranormal, supernatural, interdimensional, and the multiversal, Special Agent Lunaes' detective skills are outmatched by few. With a unique "sixth sense", his intuitive empathic ability and multitasking skills, there is little that gets around his line of sight.
Always willing to help when and where he can, he has a knack for occasionally letting his emotions get the better of him. He relies on his trusty partner and fellow agent, Ruby, to get him out of a bind and to stitch up any wounds he might get, both physical and mental.
When not investigating the latest mystery, Norrin can often be found among the crowds at various locales, be it in the busy plaza streets of Limsa Lominsa, or the crowded dance floors of various venues. He is mostly seen among his group of friends, family, and loved ones, and often times taking his ladies out on a night on the town.
Ruby Mizuki
With crimson hair, gemstone eyes, a high intellect, scholar's education, precise weapon skills, an eye for detail, and skills of seduction that rivals that of Norrin's himself, this androgenous beauty is more than qualified to take on any role when an investigation calls for it. Skilled in the art of disguise, Ruby is able to blend in quite well in a crowd and makes for an excellent look out when needed.
Straight out of academy, Ruby proved early on that they were capable as an investigative journalist for local news outlets. During one lead they were following on a case, Ruby met Norrin Lunaes. Seeing how skilled and knowledgeable Ruby was, Norrin offered him a partnership. It wasn't long before the two of them came to realize they made a great team, and Ruby found their calling in investigating the strange and unusual.
When not on a case, Ruby can often times be found out and about in the busy streets of Limsa Lominsa, at home reading a good book or two, being creative with some photography, or just spending time with Norrin and their circle of friends. At times when feeling social and adventurous, they can be found accompanying Norrin when he takes him and his ladies out on a night on the town.
